WORKSHOP MASTERCLASS'S
Michael Mann, Co-Founder and Creative Director, Brand Culture
My agency team and I found it gave us a completely different perspective with regards to what ‘networking’ really means, who should network, and how to go about it. A thoroughly enjoyable session resulted in actionable principles for us all to take away, demystifying new business and removing any fear factor associated with it.

Workshop 2-Leadership Team Assessment & Build
'Nobody is perfect, but your team can be'
Workshop led by John Gellett and Neil Tuson
Neil Tuson, Consultant
Neil is a graduate in Marine Engineering and has sailed around the world as a ship’s engineer. Somewhere on that voyage he discovered a passion for personal development. Landing in California he worked for Dale Carnegie before returning to the UK to build a business for them in South London. Being entrepreneurial he quickly set up his own coaching and consultancy business. He has had the privilege of working with over 7000 people in 150 businesses in
the US, Europe and the Middle East.

Teams and companies are always a reflection of the originating personality. Unless that person is totally unique there will always be a missing component, especially in the early days.
How do you build an effective team? It requires many components and building blocks.
The answer lies with the originating personality. How well do they know themselves? Once that assessment has been made we can extend the process to the rest of the team. The assessment starts with a simple questionnaire for the leader.
It then progresses to a personal on-line indicator which reveals the leader’s motivation, preferred communication and leadership styles. This also shows where the principle sits in the relationship to the rest of the team.
Find out where you and your team sit
Neil loves creating innovative approaches to helping businesses develop individuals, teams and divisions resulting in the formation of Perfect Teams in 2016. Using a unique algorithm ‘Perfect-Teams’ has become the new standard
for helping businesses to understand the mix of people they have in their teams.
‘Tenzing Partnership’, as a preferred supplier, have licensed Perfect-Team’s exclusive Intellectual Property [IP] to help their clients make sense of the people equation in an increasingly chaotic and fragmented workplace.
People often describe Neil as – Enigmatic, Quiet and Driven.
When not consulting or coaching you will find Neil running or trekking the Surrey Hills or similar vistas around the world.
.
This in turn can be extended to the wider team(s) and they can be mapped to show not just the collective preference, but more importantly, the gaps and potential Achilles heels.

What makes the prefect team?

Dependability
People need to have a sense of trust, that they can rely on the rest of the team. Leaders need to know that they can depend upon the individuals to turn up, put in the effort and go the extra mile.
Structure & Clarity
There need to be clear roles and responsibilities. People need to know for sure who is doing what and when. There needs to be clarity around objectives, goals and the overarching vision.
Meaning
People need to have an abiding sense of purpose. What’s the point of this and what’s in it for me? This is the ‘Why’.
No why = No way.
Impact
Am I going to be able to contribute? What impact can I have in this team. Am I an integral part, or just a cog in the machine?
Psychological Safety
People need to feel safe in their teams. No discrimination. No bullying. No micro-aggressions. The ability to be able to create a ‘safe-space’ in which everyone can thrive is paramount in today’s diverse culture
